What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is a part of Complementary Medicine, an evidence-based method, that helps people reach their optimal health and weight goals via nutritional and lifestyle changes which are customised to each individual client.

It looks at nutritional imbalances and how these may be contributing to your symptoms or health concerns.

Nutritional Therapy recognise that each person is an individual with unique requirements and take time to define personalised nutrition plans rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

How to book a consultation?

During the call we’ll discuss your health expectations and I’ll let you know the most appropriate programme to fit your needs.

How to prepare for the initial consultation?

The initial consultation is confirmed once the payment is received.

You’ll then get an invite to joint Practice Better Portal/App where you will be able access the Health Questionnaire, a 3-day food diary and Terms of Agreement. I will ask you to complete these documents at least two days before your initial consultation.

This allows me to start building your case by analysing your symptoms, medical condition, health & lifestyle assessment; review your previous clinical notes/test results; research your medications/supplements, etc. Typically, it takes 3 hours of my professional time prior your initial consultation.

Your shared information and consultations will always be held in private and total confidentiality is guaranteed.

What should I expect at my initial consultation?

Initial consultation includes:

 90-minute initial consultation in person or online via Zoom / Skype / WhatsApp

 Review your health questionnaire, medical history, medication/supplements

 Assess your current diet and lifestyle

 Establish what you want to achieve, set achievable & realistic goals based on your lifestyle

What nutritional plan includes?

At Practice Better Portal/App you will be able to access all the documents, nutrition protocols, track your goals and chat with me directly via the app online chat.

The personalised nutritional plan includes:

 A personalised 4-week nutrition programme based on your goals and our discussion

 Meal ideas, recipes and food tables

 Effective lifestyle and stress reduction strategies

 Nutritional hand-outs, Health and nutrition topics to inspire you

 Supplement recommendations (if required)

 Clinical tests recommendations and referrals to other healthcare practitioner (if required)

What should I expect at my follow ups?

The follow up will last 60 minutes. It will give us the opportunity to discuss how your symptoms have changed, evaluate how well the treatment plan has worked, and make any changes necessary.

I will email you an updated nutritional protocol within 2 working days.

Follow-up consultation includes:

 One hour follow-up consultations in person or online via Zoom / Skype / WhatsApp

 Review your progress, discuss how your symptoms have changed

 Addressing any new symptoms

 Review and explanation of any test results

 Set a new, 4-week bespoke nutrition plan based on your progress

 Supplement and lifestyle review

 Coaching and accountability support

What should I expect at 30-minute Check-In Calls?

This is a lighter consultation done in between follow-ups for those looking for an advice about what they are eating, how their nutrition could be optimised or need an extra motivation and accountability.

You may be required to keep a 3-day food diary to be sent out before our scheduled meeting.

30-minute check-in calls includes:

 30-minute check-in calls in via Zoom / Skype / WhatsApp

 Review your progress, achievements or discuss the challenges you’ve faced

 Accountability which help you to stay focused and motivated between sessions

 A diet review and recommendations provided during the consultation

Payments and refunds

All sessions must be paid for in advance.

Monthly payment scheme for programmes is available.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or debit/credit cards.

Payments are non-refundable.

Additional Costs

The cost of laboratory testing and supplements is not included and comes in additional costs.

Scheduling, cancellations and no-show

If you are late for a session, the session will not be extended and will end at the appointed time.

With all our busy schedules, I totally understand if your appointment needs to be cancelled. Please give me 48 hours notice to reschedule. Failing that, it is only fair to charge 50% cancellation fee, or 100% cancellation fee if inside 24 hours.

No-show, will be counted as a session with no refund.
